The implementation of PED Compliance in Oil Refinery

IPS was subcontracted by the client, a regional engineering company, by the ultimate client, a Oil refinery company , to implement of national regulation in accordance to European PED directive for all piping circuits in all plants of refinery.
To accomplish this, IPS project team members spent several month to preparing compliance report for the piping.
All the information was found from P&IDs and data sheet and elaborated in an specific software created by IPS. the compliance reports were included in the following informations for each piping circuit:

• Designs and operation pressure
• Designs and operation temperature
• Piping material
• the chemical and physical properties of the fluid
• Risk category according to PED
• Pressure-relieving or safety device
